sourdough waffles

I tried this sourdough waffles recipe:
2 cups starter
2 eggs
1/4 cup milk
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons oil

They are unbelievably light and crisp. The spice flavors are clear but not overpowering, and there's really no need for syrup. Without sweetening the sourdough flavor is evident, too.

Thumbs up from everyone. I froze the leftovers; we'll see how they toast.

2009-01-25 update: They freeze and toast very nicely.
